STEM Event

We plan to run an educational STEM event open to the public for 2-3 hours on Saturday afternoon, September 27th. This will be co-sponsored with the Sterling Nature Center and will be designed to inform all who come about the wonder of sand. We will do this with displays that focus on the sand in western New York, but will also showcase the international scope of our organization. 

Robert Winfree has agreed to demonstrate the art of sand painting during the STEM event.

We invite all SandFest participants to participate with the public! We will encourage local schools to announce this event in their classrooms, and it will be part of the Sterling Nature Center event calendar.

The timing and content of the ISCS STEM event at Sterling Nature Center will be posted here when it is available.
